Uhhhhh, why is the village is dirt poor again? They have these super strong elders who can make minced meat out of pretty much anything, even if they can’t just hunt and drag the meat back, why don’t they just act as mercenaries and earn money to buy supplies from the black market or some morally questionable individuals?
