MC could have at least shown the old crown, I think. Even if it is not suitable for the “British” scenario, it could strengthen their connection even more.
It felt for me like MC had some selfish selfish motives keeping the crown hidden. He just make an excuse to go past the truth detector… Does MC needs that old crown at all? Is he planning to trade hard to milk benefits out of it?
I think the crown will be revealed as something more important than just a rusty pies of shaped metal
