The fact they actually made the water creation more realistic instead of just saying :
“wax wasn’t invented yet” Man needs to read less manwhatevers and more books.
Can priests from the church go against the ghost?
I didn’t like that he killed those kids…
As someone in first year chemistry, there was surprisingly little bullshit in the water creation. Still some but very little.
Anyone else want to mention that wax has existed since ancient egypt and hair wax was invented by the Ancient Gauls (5th century BC to 5th century AD)
He should burn the body and hide the remains then they cant track him…
While it’s debatable whether they deserved it he had every right to kill them. If he were to just start slaughtering humans then yeah he’s at fault but he’s only killed things in pure self defense so far.
However there are a couple unclear points… the students said the MC was a high ranking ghost before they attacked him, and the school said they were “Excellent magicians,” but then said F rankers go into that forest…
So were those 3 killed by the MC also F rankers? Maybe E rankers?
If yes, and they said he was a “high ranking spirit,” why did they attack him on the spot instead of retreating? Because they died so easily.
As for the MC being much stronger than a normal high class ghost, shouldn’t they have been able to tell it when they used detection magic on him? Usually this kind of magic shows very strong reactions when used on strong existences that are not trying to hide their power (and I doubt the MC was trying to do so after “non living” for only 3 months).
Magic is… extremely complicated, huh? Or is it that the MC is using his past life knowledge that is overcomplicated, which however results in a massive increase in efficiency, as in less magic power consumed, faster casting time, stronger firepower?
Also nice decision to immediately run away after killing 3 students, unless there are ways to track him down, he should easily be able to escape.
This reminds me of when I attacked a mob that was 20-30 levels higher than me in an old MMORPG.
I was able to cc and deal chip damage initially, but was one shot after the mob ran up to me and slapped me out of existence.
Finally, an MC that actually kills when someone attacks them
