Summary
A brief description of the manga Meiou-sama ga Tooru no desu yo!
Osamu, a young man who died at a young age due to an incurable illness. His second life was to drift as a “spirit (demon)” in an unknown world! Osamu, who is hated by humans and unreasonably deprived of his “life,” hopes that he “does not want to die anymore.”
At that time, he gained the power of “life-sucking” that feeds on the vitality of others. In addition, he will resist the approaching “death” by using the science that he continued to learn on the bed in the previous life and the creative magic that makes the best use of his own dexterity. I met an immortal girl who was despaired by being tossed with life like myself,
“–You tried to kill me, you guys are bad.”
In order to live, we are leaning toward the “stealing side” …? An anti-heroic fantasy where a ghost who wants to live and a girl who can’t die conflict with the world!

Honestly one of the most interesting manga I have read in a minute. The world building is unique, the power system is a breath of fresh air and the art really complements the quality of the story. Along with the fact that the MC isn’t some 17 year old going on a power trip abusing some OP power that he has no real understanding of. There are issues with the overuse of time-skips (with some of them not having any specific time specified) which is one of the down sides to this manga along with some quality issues in background art, with some scenes having average or below average quality. The translation does get a bit finicky but its not at a level where sentences are regurgitated through google translate. It does update very slowly, however I would highly recommend this one especially if it gets more chapters.

Bookmarked? Yes.
I’m not going to lie, I thought I saw “maou” in the title, and I clicked instantly. Though it’s not a demon lord story, it’s pretty darn close. With that being said, it’s a very promising read at the beginning but it seems to drop off in the later chapters. I wasn’t as excited to read as the story progresses mostly because of the over usage of time skips. I for one don’t mind time skips, and I think they are very necessary for any successful story but too many creates a dumpster fire. Sadly, the author might be addicted to time skips since it feels like after every chapter he is obliged to include one. This creates two negative byproducts: Lack of character attachment and a lack of information. As the story progresses, we are supposed to feel emotionally attached to characters but besides for the mc, I couldn’t care less for what happens to other people. With the lack of information as well, it causes a vague understanding of the norm of the world. Like a good plot, good art will also make a story. However, a mixed response is given from the art since it’s good at times, but it can also be lacking a lot of details/extra stuff that makes good art; this is especially apparent in the background of fight scenes. Overall, it’s an entertaining read that got ruined by time skips. I would give it a shot if you enjoy a mc mostly mercilessly killing people with a fake “struggle.” At the end of the day, it’s another power trip manga with ever-increasing stronger opponents, but it’s badly paced.
PS: The translation isn’t even that bad. I’m starting to wonder if people actually read “bad” translation.

Unless there is a Christmas miracle/curse, all scores are finalized, and I have an innate bias towards stories with snip-bits of romance.
yeah this just… i don’t understand why people who MTL don’t even fix the simple mistakes. with how the brain can auto correct… it’s really not hard.
haven’t read later chapters, but the translation fell off so hard at chapter 5.
it’s so bad… so many simple errors. did the translator even proofread that shit?
Well, I read novel through google translate
The story itself doesn’t seem bad, and the art is… average? but the translation’s somewhat lacking. It’s readable so far, you can try it. About 3-3.5/5.
For some reason this manga feels different and after reading the 5 chapters it looks promising and interesting.
