There was a period of time where I thought the plot was starting to drag before the big confrontation between Dan Sa Yu and Hangbo Gun Ak, but I actually appreciate what the author is aiming to cook right now. They developed several distinct plot threads and the lore of the series in such a way that everything is converging towards a great calamity at the Grand Assembly of Powerful Groups, and the payoff is going to be enormous once everything finally hits the fan.
