The story is good,juat like author’s other story.
The art is not bad as well but I don’t know why the artist made the adult MC with horse like long chin just like MC in Northern blade.
Perhaps the artist was a fan of Kho Ping Ho’s villain Ma bin lo mo (Horse face Old demon).

The first 40 chaps are great, but the story dips and stalls afterwards. MC is OP and only has 2 real attachments early on. Those attachments never get resolved (at ch110) and a new one is introduced midway.

Meanwhile, hordes of murim/wuxia asshole filler throw their lives to show what a badass the OP is but offer no real progress.

Story and wicked art is designed to get your attention but hold you without resolving or evolving the character.

It’s a good series, but not great. 3.4/5

I never got to review this since I was lost for words back then. But now, It’s like a glorified eye candy. The art is so simple it’s beautiful, the story is engaging, the world building is spot on.
Might sound cringey but it is definetly one of my top 10 manhwas
