Interesting… Seriously, I love this way of writing and showing the story. To be honest, I was seriously worried that Dan Sa Yu had met his match and maybe even defeated. But no, it seems they were equals. Even with Dan Sa Yu not yet completely mastering the Heavenly Artillery General, meaning he can grow stronger even more and has yet to reach an ceiling on his growth. Also, I was wrong, Dan Sa Yu does use Qi. So he suppressed the Poison through sheer strength… Would’ve been nice if instead his Martial Arts operated completely differently from the Mainland.
