….. is this how it’s gonna be from now on? Jin just keeps saving old acquaintances without ever actually ever being in his current life? I mean, it had some cool plotpoints before, but it has been a certain pattern of repetition lately. Just what are the odds that all his previous friends end up in a life or death situation in a way that makes it seem like they are waiting in que to have it happen to them in order for Jin to be able to respond to it in order.

Mercenary Union, I recall they tried these tactics with Martin Blank. Martin declined their offer. There were several unexplained deaths and a fair bit of property damage in Grosse Pointe, Michigan but Martin still never joined up.
