The song ‘Like A Boss’ from The Lonely Island comes to mind from most chapters I read of this.
looking it at this i almost question if this was acted by the guy, would he be in hospital? of course I understand it should be done by his double stuntman.
but just entertaining the thought of actors doing it themselves felt more enjoyable.
especially if they are doing low-cost production ones since in many such movies/series, the attention to detail, CG and whatnot when swapping scenes between actor and the stuntman would somehow shows the ‘discordant’ of the action scene.
so doing it like jackie did in all those movies makes the action feel more real for me, but that would be an unrealistic demand to have towards actors.
I just love watching Ijin show of his skill, I just feel great when people admire him and when it feels like all the terrible things he has been through give him at least peoples respect, especially since he doesn’t mean to 90% of the time.
(of course that doesn’t make up for everything that has happened, but still, I just like thinking about it)
