When I left it it felt really cyclical.
1. Someone is mean to/hurts the MCs friends/sister/grandpa/random past character/colleague/random person on the street
2. Ijin is emotionless and steps in
3. Bad person gets mad and tries to get back at Ijin personally or the people he likes
4. Ijin beats those people up personally or by receiving reluctant help from his old friends
5. Nothing goes forward with the plot but grandpa is happy Ijin has such good friends.
Has anything meaningfully changed?
