The first 15 or so chapters have a different story spliced in, just skip the _1 chapters to read the beginning coherently… but once this stops around chapter 20 it starts skipping actual chapters.

In all honesty the story had a decent hook but mangaread seems to have a complete moron doing the posting. Just skip this here, the hook isn’t THAT interesting to put up with this level of incompetent uploading.
