Humans really levelled up since second holy war, eh? Back in the days only Merlin and Escanor were on very high level and they both were using at least partially powers given from Demon/Goddess clans.
I suppose the angels and demons had their respective gods, even fairies had their tree of life, but humans and giants had nothing going for them. Right now Supreme Deity is presumably still sealed and Demon King is dead, as Zeldris is much weaker than his father was.
Right now, Fairies have the strongest Fairy ever alive Harlequin and even Lancelot if we count him. Humans have King Arthur that is an avatar of chaos that required both Demon King and Supreme Deity to be sealed. He is probably the reason why Humans seems to have closed the power gap.
Although, Ten commandments and 4 Archengels were OP due to being gifted powers by their respective gods, so that makes sense.
