The mountain monsters could have just ejected the humans off their bodies instead of killing them. Sure, they would’ve been injured, but if you kill, expect to be killed. Since they have human level intelligence, they should understand this much.

how has all of this fighting between humans and monsters not led to mass species extinction

now i feel sorry or the monsters for no reason…..they do be vibin and the humans just go “aaaaahh it’s angy it need to die.”
