Tbh, kind of the whole empire fault to begin with, the dungeon laid domain with no intention of going out to fight human in the first place. Why send people there when it is still not a potential threat with an army that barely make a dent, even if MC had gone out and decided to fight, having the whole country fight seem more plausible than hand it over for 70s people.
