Man-god is going to appear and say that to enjoy his best life yet, don’t go to help them. So he does it since he wouldn’t be able to come back by the time his child is born but he is torn. then he sees norn trying to sneak out like she’s running away with a lot of stuff. he stops her. she just asks, “why are you not going to help?” implying that she’s powerless and a burden but still wants to do something, and he is all powerful but acting all helpless. so he decides to go.
Rudeus is going to go help with zenith’s rescue. The time taken would be great so they discover teleportation circles laid all around the world, used by orsted ( nanahoshi revealed the secret). when rudeus reaches there, roxy has also been lost in dungeon for quite a lot of time. then roxy’s struggle is shown and at the point she almost gives up and is about to get overrun by a horde of monsters, rudeus finds and saves her. she ends up falling in love with his handsome face. she didn’t recognise adult rudeus. when she asks who are you, rudeus feels sick and vomits. then after she heals, they dive again to find zenith in the dungeon, find an overpowered hydra guarding a magic stone. Zenith is trapped in it for about 6 months now atleast.
Paul dies, rudeus loses his hand, zenith is alive and her body is very healthy but her eyes are kind of dead. She’s in a dreamlike state. Like she’s sleepwalking, she interacts with the world, does what she’s told but it’s like she’s a shell of a person.
He fell into depression again, roxy helped him by having sex. he’s not okay but atleast he came out the room.
They come back, norn is torn but she sees that even the almighty rudeus also lost his hand, so she knows he did all he could.
Rudeus brings roxy, decides to marry her, asks sylphie, she says yes. norn doesn’t like it since she is millis faith and they permit only one marriage.
The man-god comes in his dream dream and tells him that if he didn’t go, paul wouldn’t have rushed to rescue zenith and had been more careful. thay would have taken years to rescue her but paul would still be alive and zenith would be in the same state as of now.
as for roxy, she would have been saved by another adventurer and would have fallen in love with that guy,
so basically, he goes, his dad dies, mom’s a shell, lost his hand, cheated on wife, but got a new one as well as make up with the first wife.
if he didn’t go, dad would have been alive, mom would still be a shell, he wouldn’t lose his hand, but would have lost roxy to some other guy.
