it took him 8 lives to realize that doesn’t to go to the forest…
I love the part where the monster on the 7th loop sat down, placed his legs on the table and was like “yeah, I did turn off the oven!”, while waiting for the party to discuss their sh*t. Not to mention that the magic which slows down a monster should have been useful even for escaping.
They were together for 3 years but had no plan for an armored monster which spits acid… the magician girl could have heated up the monster while the others are keeping it in place, then after it’s armor is hot enough, cool it down instantly and break through it, but noooo… or they could have used its own acid against it.
Also it had 3 heads so if it has 3 brains as well, you just have to make them agitated and pit them against each other by making the heads get in each others way. There were 3 people with melee skills so they just need to run around it while its trying to hit them or just go below it and try to stab it there… or go through the a-hole (if it’s alive, it has one… fire in the hole!)… there are many ways to deal with it, but they went with “let’s sacrifice him and run away”. -.-”
So yeah… this will be a mediocre story. :-/

You need to be an idiot to get betrayed 7 times by the same people. They aren’t your friends, they never were. ‘Friends’ that keep on betraying him each time at the same event? How slow are you to get the hint?
You even noticed that the creature was getting stronger every time, and still you persisted being an idiot.
You also need to be an idiot to think out loud.
The dialogue and info dump of the other characters, and their actions during the battle, what a bunch of Chūnibyō.
This seem pretty low tier
