A brief description of the manga Joushiki Shirazu no Saikyou Madoushi:

Luke was a youngster who spent his time alone in a labyrinth high in the mountains in a world where monster nests known as “labyrinths” exist.

He read books his parents had left him to learn magic. Luke passed the entrance exam even though he had mastered status magic, a prerequisite for enrollment in the Conqueror Academy (a facility that educates individuals to escape labyrinths). He has no option but to join the Freestyle Conquerors.

Despite beginning in difficulty, he rises to become the most powerful Conquerors by overcoming several challenges with tremendous might.
