My Gift LVL 9999 Unlimited Gacha - Chapter 188

i love this manga so much the story of each character bring me joy
This reminds me of a D&D campaign. We had been together for years, we played in the same “world” as all of our characters even when it was a new campaign and had new characters. The DM was absolutely incredible and his wife used to cook for us on game nights.
TO THE STORY! We had been working with an NPC that we had done all of our due diligence with but turned out we just didn’t get the necessary checks. Going into a dungeon we were betrayed and due to very bad initial rolls, we got our asses slaughtered. It was emotional as hell. Rogue sacrificing himself to protect the wizard, the wizard helping the paladin and cleric to escape, and the cleric sacrificing herself for the paladin, though in the end the paladin had no chance of escape. Before they would have been overtaken, he just goes all out. This lawful good paladin is explaining how he is tearing off the armor of his faith, calling out to Levistus, “GIVE ME VENGEANCE! MY BODY, MY LIFE, MY SOUL IN EXCHANGE FOR VENGEANCE AGAINST EVERYONE WHO HAD A HAND IN OUR BETRAYAL!”
The table is in shock, the DM smiling begins to say, “Make a charisma check” but before he finishes the paladin blurts out, “I run my sword through my chest”
DM instantly goes into DM mode, “You are seeing the dungeon around you but without blinking, your surroundings change and infront of you, a wall of ice, and inside you see a figure as you hear a voice in your head, ‘you shall have it’ and the sword is slowly removed from your chest by an unseen force, and the wound is instantly filled with ice, causing immense pain. Out of the wall, a sword forms from the ice, and we will end our session there.”
This was how he became an oathbreaker and giving us time to finalize our backup characters that would now be coming into the world, getting everything set up, and then go from there.
This somehow reminded me of how Conan The Barbarian prayed to Crom for revenge scene. Damn, that’s very powerful one. This too, are very powerful scene.
Welp Miya, you never had a chance to begin with.
cant wait oboro die by ayame
onihole
Oh look, Light is about to have himself a future Oni Wife, too.
Took only 4 chapters to make this princess go from hurling racist insults at him to worshipping him.
You know, this could have been a simple story of a classic roaring rampage of vengeance. And I would probably have enjoyed it.
But they had to go above and beyond and made me interested in the story of side characters.
Good job Mr. Author!
For those interested:
However, during that delightful conversation, Ayame suddenly challenged Ellie to a duel after hearing that Ellie was a powerful sorceress. Ayame explained that her dream was to become her sister’s guardian, so she needed more training and wanted to practice fighting Ellie. This surprised Yotsuha, who immediately asked Ayame to apologize. Ellie instead suggested that Khaos serve as Ayame’s mentor, explaining that Ayame was a close-combat fighter while she herself was a sorceress. Ayame agreed to that arrangement.
After Ayame’s initial training arrangement, Ayame fell in love with Khaos and suggested to Yotsuha that, since Khaos was the right-hand man of the Witch of the Giant Tower, it might be beneficial if she and Khaos were to wed. Yotsuha then consulted Ellie about the matter. Ellie gave an equivocal reply and became furious with Khaos for putting her in such an awkward position.
Side Note: This side story occurs before Light reveals his identity to Yotsuha in the main story.
That expression i like it, that is how revenge should be,
Mc became god of vengeance
I can never thought to see Christmas came early but, man. See? Told people that both Kamijous and Shimobashira were cahoots with each other into manipulating the Oni God lore for their own convenience, and I KNEW all along that house on the mountain foot where the Oni Sisters used to stay was suspicious.
How? Well, you can already tell the panic from these two thugs over they learned that the Oni Sisters have disappeared and fearing. Maybe, that panic is well deserved because, given how Mitsuhiko explained about controlling the Oni God? As well as Oboro being Nano for seeing this as a second to make his own selfish wish come true? especially how I mean, even if the faction do able to control the Oni God for world domination, can it beat defeat <C> ? Doesn’t help that he has something to do with how Yotsuha’s late mom got her own bad ending. Oh wait, speaking of exact whom….
Poor Yotsuha REALLY has a hard time as the result of the truth bomb and can you really blame her wrath? Considering what she herself been through before all this, her fury is justified because everything she believed about the lore has been a lie, and her late mom was one of many Miko Princesses who fell victim to said lie and she vows to get revenge by making the traitors pay for their coup-de-tat . Looking at Oni Princess’s face after Light reveals himself and shows his LVL9999, I really don’t think she care anything else as long she get her revenge onto those three rats: Kamijous and Shimobashira and especially Oboro.
Speaking of Light, he helps her because of his own personal experience of getting tricked by the same selfish idiot and his desire to make the traitors pay (his version is his former party). Probably this is because of his personal experiences that he makes a promise he can keep because he is also find the same certain idiot too.
With that, Operation Momotaro is now officially green-lit and I see you in Umamusume Year

This chapter gave me goosebumps and tears to my eyes, not because of how sad it is but because how her anger, hatred and thirst for revenge was portray. Kudos to the author-nim who gave us the raw emotion of this shrine princess.
