My Gift LVL 9999 Unlimited Gacha - Chapter 187
Comments for chapter "Chapter 187"
It still doesn’t tie in to Yotsuha’s blind belief beyond a reasonable doubt that they had “secret talks” with Ellie though. sure she is desperate of a savior so she isn’t sacrificed, but there’s no way she can’t have an ounce of doubt right?
Had to rewrite this revamping reasons but man….
The whole chapter is Part 2 of Oboro’s villain origin story and as short as it is, it actually explain further about the truth of the Oni Island and the Oni God. If you think Yotsuha’s version of the story about the Oni God is enough, Mitsuhiko adds more to the story that not even the Miko Princess know….and I knew this all along! I told people about this since the mid arc.
The Oni God is real but the lore itself has been manipulated by both Kamijou and Shimobashira but for their own selfish stuff to themselves. Both clans were in cahoots with each other into manipulating the on making the local in turning the supposed Deity of Malice into a living Weapon of Mass Destruction so the Onis can be a ruler to the world. Typical ambitious pricks.
Yotsuha revealed her version of this stuff to Dark (Light) is because she genuinely want to end the island’s curse . Mitsuhiko? Well, this dialogue with Oboro speaks for itself about the Oni ambition which, if I must be honest? A violation against the Duchy and good luck for that thing try to fight “C” (we all know how impractical it is).
This explains a LOT about the Oni Traitor’s smug face back from Chapter 174’s final panels and him able to gain access onto the Tori Gates that led to the Oni God’s habitat? Said Tori Gates are belonged to Shimobashira! Seems to me that chapter’s end panel confirms Yotsuha’s sorrowful deduction about Mitsuhiko’s deception because he only “supported” her “self-kidnapping” plan for he saw the Oni Siblings as a key for the Oni God’s power (a e house that is located at the mountain foot should be a HUGE red flag). Also explains a LOT about why Oboro even made a very convincing lie to Yotsuha about the Tower Witch despite he never even met one even with his enriched experience in travelling the mainland. Like, Group Orphans (Garou/Garuu, Sasha, Sionne/Shion and Nano) have never seen the Tower Witch, let alone one lazy prick who is now depending on his magic mirror to make his selfish wish come true.
Whatever happens in the Oni Island Arc all I know is this: Operation Momotaro will undo all the 3 rats’ hard work as divine punishment, courtesy to one “ghost” from Oboro’s past who is now coming back for a payback- Yes, l am talking bout Light the Human Boy Oboro thought was “dead” after the infamous betrayal back from the Unlimited Gacha Arc. With him so obsessive for the “Absolute Strength“, him not knowing the Unlimited Gacha’s true power was actually a blessing because that fool like him will NEVER understand how power works, like how Sionne/Shion and Nano stayed stuck in where they were before they became part of Light’s undefeated win-streak.
as bad as an idea that was, why didn’t they just use criminals or animals?
what a waste of yime telling us what we already knew
This is what we call fokking stupid
Chapter seems i scroll down a bit and it’s done! Can’t wait to see the look on Oboro’s face once he knew that light is alive XD
At any point no one of those “researchers” pointed out “We cant test this so It could just backfire completely”. Oni are the definitive retard race it seems.
This felt very short a lot more than normal then again it seems like both quality and quantity of the chapters in every manwha manga and manhau recently

Ya know, it’s really funny to see Oboro took all the credit about “killing Light ” despite he did absolutely nothing and the former LVL15 Human Boy narrowly escaped from them via a teleportation trap. Not that he actually bother to care. Like, for real.
Maybe this “Absolute Power” thing was the reason for the betrayal, along with Human weaknesses but, let’s say that his second betrayal was the one ends up biting him back the hardest, all in at the upcoming Operation Momotaro Chapters.
