So, it seems that there IS a dark side about the so-called “blessing” as Aldo’s angel monster form not only continues to mutate into an even more hideous and heinous fiend, the more Aldo’s humanity ceases it’s existence which further proves that neither he nor the Church of Goddess is mankind’s “hero”. If anything, I have a gut feeling that it foreshadows the Goddess’s true personality and….let’s say that this is not what the myth everybody in the surface world suggested.
Props for the guy for breaking Sionne’s/Shion’s, Oboro and even Sasha’s record by surviving the fight for 1 minute and 45 seconds. Still unable to break Daigo’s record of 2 minutes despite his strong mutations due to his shard made him much more an annoyance than anything.
Also, Aldo even murk one of the zealots to unleash the biohazard, hoping that the Undertaker King becomes the first victim. Not only Light is immune to the biohazard, he also cures all the zealots with one card that leaves Angel Monster Aldo shocked to know that all the handwork they. Makes you wonder who else were the cult’s victims to made this thing. Seems to me that some of the ex-adventurer cowardice still lives inside Aldo and the moment the artifact is removed from Aldo’s body is the moment Aldo has lost all heaven mandate about him.
With that, that zealot’s group is officially defunct and the Summit will be continued as planed and Undertaker King’s infamous Streak continues to grow as it is now 18-0 and the true show for the Summit. Though I still had to feel sympathize to some of the zealots who wants to avenge their loves one but going the wrong path.

In all seriousness though, maybe this is just me adding something but if I must say something these zealots’ acts is what Light’s revenge stories against the 9 villains would look like if the Lvl.15 boy was surrounded by his Gacha Summons who helped him to become powerful without losing his morals that defined his humanity.
I wouldn’t be too worried about Aldo and his mutations that supposedly make him a “threat” to Light and his Gacha Summons. Instead, it was Aldo’s ideology that made him mankind’s worst turncoats and his mutations only make him no different than most of the non-human villains who, again I said, living plot points who will be discarded when the scripts are scrapped
The Undertaker King is no stranger to delusional villains who has twisted thinking and if the giants like the Magatama Slime Monster and Oni God can’t beat Light, then what are the chances for someone like Aldo to do the miracle. Hardly a 5 minutes fight when the Undetaker King removes his “miracle”
If anything, the mutations only foreshadows something sinister about the Goddess herself
At least according to the OG WN Her true identity was AI, aka Camenae self-proclaimed Goddess . She may not appeared much but she played a key role in the rest of the story and her downfall in the latest arc only deepen the plot in regards of <C.U>.
If everybody talk about the zealots, then folks are not ready for the four sacred heroes who were awaken because “Camenae” really hated to the “scenario” falling apart.
