if humans are the weakest race why didn’t the other races either enslave all of them or kill them all
I hoped she wouldn’t turn out like the princess in Overlord, but I think my worries were for nothing.

Why are they still a kingdom at all? ANY other race could enslave them all and take their land, and then they’d have an even better chance of finding the Master before he grew into a threat.
The entire premise that humans are the weakest race overall but the biggest threat to the entire world, and yet actually are allowed to gather as a kingdom and survive on diplomacy is a joke. If technology and rapid growth are the threats humans (the Master) represent, there would be no way any other race would allow them to have their own kingdom. There must be a specific reason why they can’t just enslave all humans that we don’t know about yet, besides the fear of the Master (or religion, for that matter. The goddess blessed humans alone with ‘gifts’ and yet the other races kill rape and enslave humans constantly, so they must not actually believe in her, or be afraid of divine punishment).
And that’s another thing; ALL the other races are afraid of another Master, yet treat humans so badly quite openly that they are guaranteeing their own extinction when one finally comes. That’s a Darwin Award strategy for living long and healthy lives.
Both siblings make good points as we’ve seen how bad the other races treat them. Without any real verification risking teh princess off the chance of some scheme by the Elven kingdom or who knows who else might attack her on the trip is a WILD ask.
However, being the king of a nation of slaves isn’t a title worth carrying honestly.
