This new arc just got started, and a lot of questions are already piling up.
a) Is a human princess prohibited from getting an education, or is this Princess just a complete idiot?
The King and First Prince made good points about clashing with the more powerful nations of the world, but the Princess just screams out her feelings.
b) How does the fact that salt doesn’t have a fixed price affect whether the other nations stop supplying salt to the human nation?
I’m confused about the argument from the Princess.
c) The Tower bypassed the King and sent an invitation directly to the Princess, but isn’t the disregard of the leader of a nation a very disrespectful way to start diplomatic relations?
d) If it’s an unfamiliar organization, then why would any king let TWO of his children be among the first to visit it?
It would make more sense if a king has a harem, so he sends out someone like the 9th in line for the throne.
e) If the King does not want to appear as if the human nation is colluding with the Tower, then isn’t it a bad idea to let a high-ranking official like the First Prince (probably the first in line for the throne) to go meet with the Tower leader?
f) I’m not sure if the King has really fallen ill or is just faking it, but wouldn’t everyone else think that it’s a weird time to send the First Prince out of the nation?
g) It might be the translation, but why does it sound like the Tower leader already knows Yume?
Or at least it sounds like the Tower leader was expecting a girl of Yume’s age would be among the people greeting Mei, but no one among the human nation questions the behavior.
h) What’s up with the bodyguards worrying about being separated by sex, but not objecting when they were separated from the Prince and Princess that they’re supposed to be guarding in this suspicious tower?
i) Light has put a lot of effort into hiding his identity from the world, so why is he now revealing himself?
Unless he is planning to kill the others or erase their memories, Light could have separated his sister from the rest of the group before meeting her.
