Wonder why Pingping’s pissed at him in particular, as far as I know Qingze hasn’t done anything to earn her ire yet. That or she’s still sore about his existence ruining her fun with Jiang He’s doomed suitor here two chapters ago, or her own troubles with finding a boyfriend.
Guess Qingze’s bound and determined to be a stay-at-home dad (admittedly in part due to his own laziness), but part of me wishes he’d go with Jiang He’s offer, it’s been a while since they had a span of chapters that were written solely for the pair of them alone. Goes part and parcel with married life in the modern age I know, but still.
It does make me wonder what the date is now in the manhua’s world since it’s been a little over a decade since she became part of his life. Maybe the series started in the early 2010’s? That’d make the both of them roughly my own age physically, which is a bit of an odd feeling (suppose I’m in the same boat as Pingping after all…). But I suppose it matters little in the end when it does take place.
