heheh, I still remember the moments like this. Trying to have a serious conversation, but not quite handling it well enough. Fumbling and figuring it all out. Except I didn’t have parents who could ever be half as reliable.
This is too damn cute. I love the slice of life stretches, but it’s always nice to go back to the roots and see a budding romance again. Xiaoxiao really grew into quite the beauty, plus her flustered moments are always adorable, glad they all kept the core aspects of their personalities intact. Can’t wait to see what comes next for her and Shi’an now that he’s old enough to do right by her.
That being said Shi’an, if you want to be with her you better get your nose to the grindstone, have a feeling she’ll be going to a university that’d normally be beyond your slacker motivations. Not to mention Haozi’ll skin you alive if you hurt his little girl, as if that wasn’t obvious enough over the last nearly two decades.
Glad I caught this right after waking up, wasn’t expecting another chapter again so soon, but I’ll never complain when providence provides. As always, hope life’s treating y’all well and that you’re in good health. See you again next chapter or elsewhere on site, whichever comes first. Peace.
