Damn, Shi’an’s getting roasted from every angle, guess some things never change. But to be fair he and Xiaoxiao kinda bring it on themselves each time, they’re nowhere near as sneaky as they think they are. Good to see there’s a common consensus regarding his legs should he screw up though, both their dads are ruthless. And Jin, you should know by now dear ol’ papa Qingze is a pot-stirrer and a master manipulator, use your head and extort him a bit like your younger self.

Knew they’d jumped forward a good bit, but it still was a bit of a shock knowing the kids are in their junior year now. Won’t be too long before they’re moving out, though hopefully they’ll learn at least a bit more about the truth concerning mama Jiang and Quingze before they do. Their delusions are fun but it is a mite bit frustrating that they still don’t know anything beyond the tidbits they gleaned as grade-schoolers.

And as cute as the last couple panels were, you should’ve known better than to barge in back there Shi’an, even if your mom’s reaction was a bit more violent than necessary. Ancient standards of decency and all that, but it sure as hell didn’t stop you Jiang He when Qingze convinced you to stoop to his level. But I suppose her hypocrisy has some merit given her beliefs about per-marital, ah, “intimacy”, not to mention how long it took for Qingze to do so in the first place.

First day on my new job really drained me, was a genuine pleasure to come home to a fresh chapter. As always, hope life’s treating y’all well and that you’re in good health and spirits.
