Hm… It’s actually plausible in some prefectures that have better schools within the broader provinces. However, all of the top universities adjust the entry score based on their own assessment of each province’s college entrance exam, so the point is kind of moot.
Most parents nowadays rather have their kids enjoy a better childhood. I went to review a lot of the high school and college freshman education content… A lot of it is either taught with stupidly outdated pedagogy or even completely outdated…
And what’s the point of cramming advanced college maths at high school? It’s created an arms race where everyone in China is miserable.
