Honestly, I lost a bit of respect for the author from this development. They could’ve easily had the story progress the exact same way without him having to sleep with another woman. Him sleeping with her served no purpose other than to hurt his relationship with his girlfriend.
They could’ve easily had it where nano helped him absorb the energy, and the same sequence of events would’ve happened. I’m going to just believe that’s what happened and pretend this never happened.
