The ring was understandable but stupid for him to trade but again, understandable. Him trying to trade away one of a scroll from the seven deadly sins is more stupid than the ring itself.
Had it been a demon ability that isn’t part of the seven deadly sins or its followers, I can understand. But him trading chapter 7 of that book is stupid because it’ll probably go back to the previous owners who had the dam scroll in the first place 
Why is the mc so obsessed with trading away extremely important and valuable items for not much in return? First his ring which signified that he is the true heir to his household, and now hes trying to trade away the sloth page which was an important item tied to the story in this game.
