Beyond stupid of Pascal. Regardless of how Lawrence curried favor with the Prince, the fact remains that he is in his Highness’ favor. I guess he’s the kind of worthless noble who doesn’t care about his own subordinates or allies, assumes anything that happens to Lawrence would be beneath his Highness’ notice, and he wouldn’t care. To make matters worse for him, the same Prince who is himself the Kingdom’s Minister of Justice. Who can find every legal precedent in the book to humiliate him, strip him of everything, throw him in the deepest damn hole imaginable, leave his reputation in tatters, make him into a Pariah against the Kingdom, and make sure every charge sticks. On top of whatever violence he’s willing to use to enforce it. He dun poked the wrong bear.
Another manga that I might end up dropping if they keep this crap up with short chapters. I liked it when they would upload a full chapter but know it’s getting annoying with these short chapters that nearly every manga has been getting. Don’t know if it’s the publisher or the translators or whoever, but it’s time they stop with these short chapters and just upload a full chapter.
