An Elder (looks like Saint Mars, Godhead of Environment) is here has me question a lot and the cigar-smoking man is dressed as one of the God’s Knights, it can’t be as simple as its shown:
Was the “mist that took music” a bio-weapon that WG used? It seems too purposeful in decaying music for a musical kingdom.
Was Brook’s kingdom truly that strong to require an Elder to be involved? (Elders were not physically involved in places like Dressrosa or Ohara, but were in Egghead due to its potential strength)
Instead, it doesn’t seem like the motivation was purely over “not meeting the celestial tribute” to involve such powerful figures and involvement from Imu.
This tragedy’s motivation seems linked to Shuri’s lineage (possibly a child of a Celestial Dragon) and this could all be in efforts of taking her back to the Holy Land (i.e. like Shamrock tried with his children).
Imu is also very invested in Shuri in present day, getting angry at Brook’s supposed connection with her and shows some worry towards her…
