Everytime this “God” is watching through the moon something will happen 
…I’m both surprised and not surprised, that the obvious way to counter Saitama — is to launch him into space (and have him not hit the moon this time).
He can’t keep his breath forever, and he can’t maneuver in space since he’s not an esper. He’d be completely boned.
…But obviously, doing that would end the show, so nobody has done that thus far.
I would be surprised if the original webcomic didn’t try to address this at some point, since I’m sure the fanbase shouted that idea enough to reach the author.
I’d personally “solve this issue”, by just having a transmitter of some sort on Saitama, that, in case he is blown into space, someone can go fetch him at some point.
It’s a decent solution overall.
