OK that the MC was famous as he became A rank by himself, but is it so important when SS rank has just been proven to exist? Perhaps even SSS rank exists in this world?

About the TL remark:
I think MC could have two reasons to say what he is saying.
1) He might be lying, to hide his deep connection to the fairy world/ that he was there.
2) He might actually be thinking his eyes were replaced for a different reason, not because he fried them along his brain.
