Summary
A brief description of the manga Outcast Adventurer’s Second Chance ~Training in the Fairy World to Forge a Place to Belong~
“Glen, your bad reputation is dragging the party down. We’re kicking you out today.” A party of adventurers formed from childhood friends. The day after a promotion exam, Glen was summoned to the guild and expelled by the party leader.
The reason given was the “bad rumours” that followed Glen. The rumours had no basis, but Glen was already considering leaving the party, so he accepted the outcome and left the party. Alone, he returned to his hometown for the first time in a long while to catch up.
“Glen, leave this place.” What awaited him there were the people who raised him believing in the bad rumours. “If you think I’m like that, then I’ll be like that” he shouted as he disappeared into the forest.
This is a story about an adventurer trying to regain the things he has lost. Those who abandoned him will wallow in grief, while he moves forward with his new companions.

Announcement: Chapter 12 originally had a credit page, which is missing here, that states there are only 15 raw chapters.
Mangaupdates states that it has two volumes, and the first one was published in 2021.
That means it has been a long time since the last published volume. So curb your expectations that there will be more. It seems like it was axed.
It’s got an interesting premise but it does suffer from cliches. MC shocks his brain to try to cure his mental illness. Honestly in a world of magic i can see that being a thing.
Now, my standing theory is that in order to get published, there is an ugly bastard that you either have to f*ck, or put in enough cliches to appease. I suspect the creator did not want to be screwed by an ugly guy so he put in a bunch of cliches in the beginning.
The first panel from the first chapter explains all the rest of the series. Yes, this is prejudice. But trying to be positive is copium/useless, after all this is a manga, their industry state isn’t okay.
It’s not that bad and just like another commenter said, it has too many cliches, but it’s still good to read it.
Pretty okay… its mid…
5 chapters and dropped (last update about 6 month ago)
Doesn’t look good.
mega ultra cliche

This does appear to have fallen to the axe, and I won’t complain. This is written like an adolescent’s self-pity fantasy; his feelings are clearly out of touch with reality. It’s all so simplistic and convenient that it’s hard to believe the author was serious, but it doesn’t feel clever, rather it feels like pandering to a young teen audience the author despises. I declined to review this a year ago, maybe because “if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all”. So, the artwork is okay. I’m gonna recommend not wasting your time.
Summary: MC is super talented and smart and handsome and charming and generous and noble and hard-working, but people lie about him out of jealousy and everyone believes it and he is so despised by everyone that he has to give himself electroshock therapy. After he causes serious brain damage, he is taken in by fairies who heal him in a quiet place away from the cruel world. When he returns he finds out only a few people hated him and they were criminals who targeted him because of evil and now MC is loved by everyone and people can’t stop giving him riches and honor and everything is easy forever.
