I will try to offer different advice.
I just finished it and absolutely loved it. As a person that has trouble fully embracing and feeling their emotions, this hit hard several times and made me think AND feel about many hard moments from my life, some of which I haven’t touched in years. I would say the manga is highly relatable as it tackles issues that all of us struggle with, although it gets extreme at times.
I WOULD recommend it, but only if you are mature enough to not trust most of the characters’ negative outlooks on life and have the mental resilience to stomach the multiple traumatic moments.
It certainly helped me feel more and dig into some of my issues, started early in life just like in the manga. Also, I feel somewhat more confident, as I realized many people have similar struggles and some are even harder than mine.
With that said, I will be feeling down for at least a few days.
This is the only manga thats brung a tear to my face 
Alright time for my review oh god, This is the best manga of all time. Not even close. This anga has all the aspects that make a manhwa truly great, its highs were as high as a mountain and its lows were some of the darkest lows I have ever read in my life. The things that happened to PunPun in this story are some of the saddest stuff I hav eever seen in my life. now onto the ranking
Story 11/10 this Manga has the greatest story ever told about how terrible life can turn out. PunPun has a disaster of a family and one of the worst mothers I have ever seen. Although she gets some redemption I still can’t forgive her. Throughout PunPun’s life we see him grow and turn more into a dysfunctional psychopath as the years go bye. PunPun’s story begins with his crush on Aiko and his promise to take her to her uncle in Kagoshima that he never does and how his broken promise to him breaks him throughout his entire childhood, how he was never able to move on, how he was never able to sit down and make himself better because of how he never had a father or mother to raise him and help him through his struggles which is something no kid should have to go through. NO MORE SPOILERS READ FOR YOURSELF

Overall: Even though I like “The Flagrant Flower Blooms with Dignity” better as a personal choice, This is the best manga ever made easily an 11/10 but PunPun shouldve died.

This had quite a few exasperated “Well… Shit” moments. The main characters mental and emotional evolution through the story is represented literally in the form he takes throughout. The perspective from which the subject matter is presented can be hard for some people (other commenters included) to relate to without at least a modicum of your own trauma to for comparison. There really isn’t many words one can use use to describe this but if you have the mental fortitude to bear what truly is a bit of mad genius it is, in my opinion, well worth the read.
alrighty, after reading this i have some hot takes,
in my opinion, this manga was in fact a masterpiece, the characters, the story, the vibe it wanted, it had and did everything perfectly, it tied up all loose ends no matter how big or small or even random a character is.
overalll i give it a 10/10
This is where it gets complicated, no matter how good this manga was i simply cannot recommend it, yea its funny, yea its highs were high, and trust me when i say its lows were low, and yea its a, in my opinion (truly subjective to person) perfect manga, however not once while reading this, even while i was laughing at both parts that were and probably werent supposed to be funny, i have not once felt that i was enjoying this manga.
this manga managed to at the same time be a 10/10 but also be completely unenjoyable at the same time and it baffles me how it does this. This is by far the most nuanced manga analysis i’ve ever given and the only way for you to understand is to read it yourself. Although that is probably the only way to understand, be advised that i in no way shape or form, am recommending this manga, matter of fact i encourage you to simply not read it.
Honestly I wouldn’t recommend this in any way.
The payoff in the end is totally unearned and makes no sense.
It’s contrived, convenient writing that pretends to be deep but just comes off forced and cheap.
I will admit, there are several moments of true depth and wisdom.
But those moments are completely overshadowed by the extremely degenerate, depressive and sadistic nature of the entire manga.
So the payoff itself at the end is overshadowed by the satanic, gluttonous perversion that is this authors mind throughout the entire manga.
I seriously don’t recommend. It’s an unearned happy ending in a manga filled with degeneracy and satanic undertones shrouded by “woah bro that’s deep stuff! Mental health issues! Deep stuff!”
When you really take the concerted effort to evaluate this manga, you’re going to discover that it’s completely meaningless and satanic.
And to think young adults will read this and just think it’s edgy when it’s not edgy buy wholly satanic, sadistic, insane and psychotic.
It changes the entire dynamic of the story.
Just miserable I wouldn’t recommend unless you want to feel depressed
This manga pulled at my heart, ranks above boy’s abyss at pulling my heart due to its rawness
