it’d be a really cool plot twist if the portal archmage was in fact MC’s grandmother and if im guessing correctly than maybe MC’s mother was one of the escaped portal mages as the dates of her death and the MC’s attack match up too well, maybe the real target intially on chapter 1 was aimed at the MC instead of the dragonborn as if my memory servers correctly the attack was originally aimed at MC but the dragonborn chose to block it, also it’s hinted that dragonborn are rare/incredibly powerful so what are the chances that one was placed in a random gym that just happens to be the one that MC works at? From what i’m seeing MC’s mother or father was either an incredibly power rogue mage with a lot of connections

why am I getting a feeling his mom was the crazy space archmage’s daughter or sister?
but then the question would be, why did she know about him sooner. If she’s so interested in space mages she’d probably check her own family first. Maybe his parents isolated him from mana so that he’d never awaken because they know the old witch would want him.
The writing in this Manhwa is Perfection. I love how MC wants to be independent for good and understandable reasons. And not the usual “Solo Leveling, I’m So Powerful or That I just want to be independent just cuz” reason.
