Can’t wait to see how they illustrate the network he plans on building, the description of his spatial sense in the books was a huge sphere always active, it’s literally his “passive spatial sense”, so the active way it’s used here is different but it’s okay. Although it’s also black and white, at least in my head, because it’s not his eyes he uses to see but the actual space haha. They haven’t gone into the difficulty he has with his Vis Threads, which is kinda important, because it let’s him get by any and all regular wards. Vis threads are supposed to be ridiculously difficult for mages to do, but Callum does them naturally and at lengths impossible for a regular mage to try. Even Archmages have a range of ten meters with passive senses, his are very different, and that’s because of the mage bubble theory. It was supposed to already be brought up with the whole Gale thing, idk why they didn’t bring it up. It’s another way Callum was able to go unnoticed for so long, he doesn’t push his vis outside his body in a huge bubble, a “sphere of authority”, he uses the much rarer (one other mage in the world does it) internal vis saturation method. It’s why he has seen through glamorous and has a passive spatial sense in the hundreds of meters and can make vis threads. The threads are important because it makes his teleports very very quick but also sickening for people, they throw up haha. He has to spend alot of time getting used to flattening and rolling his tiny threads into tubes before he gets better at magic, don’t know why they didn’t include anything about that into the webtoon yet. It’s kinda important long term for the story.
