When someone who is sooooo sure about something but then when evidence is upon them they say “it might not be like I said but still” — you already know you f*cked up for believing the person lies…
An example would be soldiers were told “the terrorist is in the underground of that building” so you among the soldiers destroy the building but later found out it’s just a school full of kids and no sign of underground structure underneath, the cover up? “They were terrorist, all of them” or worse “they’ll grow up and become terrorist”…. Yeah you f*cked up for believing your superior let alone your government at that point. All you can do is laugh and deny the reality then go insane.
