I feel like the manhwa completely butchered the novel, go read the novel instead. Heres a better version of jeff’s rant

1. MC is so much different
2. fat
3. edgy
4. overall jake’s personality feels more like william then jake
5. butchered the novel, added new and unnecessary characters while changing character designs. I would have like the changes if they weren’t so god damn stupid. I feel like the illustrators/writers didn’t read the novel at all or didn’t consult with the author. If they did, then Zogarth might be high. Here is a comparison of changes for better for worse in the first chapter(mostly focused on the people and not story details.
6. Jacob’s name, dunno if it’s just a translation error but he’s not called Adam
7. Bertram – Described as big and brooding in the novel, but even Jacob looks bigger
8. They removed mike(Johanna’s husband), my boy
9. Caroline is a ginger, she’s a blond in the novel(nit picky, I know)
10. Jake’s fat, he has an “above-average physique” in the novel
11. System manifestation looks like a weird alien instead of featureless human
12. Cut out a major amount of info from the system convo as well as a lot of info abt the characters and tutorial in general
13. The dark stuff
14. This is really just an explanation that although it’s dark, it’s not the worst, like no extreme gore or stuff like torture, but there is bloody stuff, slavery, etc. The novel prolly is less dark than the manhwa since the novel’s descriptions aren’t extremely graphic

TL;DR : Some guy complaining that they didn’t stick to the og novel, which is s much better than this.
