I know it’s a common trope in these manhwa that authors use for the sake of building character motivation, but I genuinely hope that video games aren’t still like this in the future. Real money transactions are such a cruel thing to dangle in front of players. “Play our game and one day you might be able to pay off your dad’s hospital bills.” Man, that’s bleak. It’s not like the act of playing a video game is productive for humanity. It’s just supposed to be recreation. The only reason to incentivize it like that is to get more people to play it out of desperation and become addicted. It ain’t right. Someday I hope we stop normalizing it.

well idk what in the world I’m even reading but this stuff is mildly entertaining for some reason 
it’s kinda weird but I’ll rock with it
