Ranker’s Return (Remake)

Another zero tension story, where MC is OP. But it’s worse because it makes no sense of HOW he’s strong.

Items don’t matter, stats don’t matter, skills don’t matter, levels don’t matter. MC is unbeatable because… he knows how to move. That’s it. And before you get excited by the premise, it just just TOLD he knows how to move, but we don’t SEE anything special. It’s not a skill, passive, or anything. He create a character and at level 1 he already knows how to beat level 10 monsters because… yes. And it’s not even a hard fight.

I read till chapter 20 and he was already beating a level 110 player while still being level 50. It’s boring how you never feel there’s any danger.

Also, the story is pointless because he start playing to get money, which he accomplish by signing a contract with Nike (really) by chapter 10 or 12, I don’t remember the exact chapter, but really early (also feels incredibly rushed). What’s the point of anything after that? To get revenge towards a guy I don’t care?

MC is so much of a Gary Stu, he’s the only player advancing the Main Story. And there’s nothing special on these mainquest, he’s the only one because… of course he is. Even early in the game, no one else in the world is capable aside from him.
