A lot of maybes for such a weird power. Not even sure the writer thought this through.
Although I guess we can assume that the grav magic is more complex than this and while decreasing weight it generates just enough pull to keep his feet planted were he wants them. Then we might could assume that his gravity is pulling him in the direction he was to go. Push down, pull forward. Almost like a skater magnetized to the ground whose also being pulled forward into a giant vacuum. Then maybe we could assume that this also alters his perspective of time. Although I have no clue how or if gravity effects time. But maaybe thats a hidden side perk? Meh.
I kinda feel like gravity magic shouldn’t work this way. Just because his body is lighter doesn’t mean he can suddenly see the movements of someone any easier. Also, what keeps him from moon walking. You can decrease the gravity on yourself by only so much, at which point you just hit zero g. Not very useful in a fight against creatures with ungodly levels of strength and speed. Realistically, he should make a decent warrior at first but a poor one at middle tier levels. In the end, a back up mage capable of dealing out what is essentially a crippling debuff against his enemies in the form of higher grav would be the prize winner of this class.
Such a nice guy.. instead of that fear… He didn’t even take advantage of the situation for himself… Even dare to warn others and not get up and do something… I’m sure his other friend still alive after that one hit too.. but if they did die even more so the reason for him to panic and not “you can’t win!” “You’re a loser!”
This is stupid those 3 don’t even fight as a party, and the slow monster is somehow catching them but not the mc who is HALF ITS LEVEL

The logic of the plot is meh, not a fan of the MC.
Technically at least 3 shot since he hit 2x himself + lighting guy did some damage to it earlier stillmst
