Julian is an acting leader of a military division and only got a smack on the wrist for being recklessly stupid and ignoring military hierarchy. He might not have known the law, but he certainly knew better.
And once again, the author found an excuse to not explain anything about the plot, while Shubeon has still learnt absolutely nothing from Luff (getting a buff cheat doesn’t count).
Plus the Pareia tribe are making ridiculously stupid military decisions, leaving their entire territory open with no warriors and screwing up their essential trade with the Empire by waging this war, and they’re going to somehow benefit, aren’t they? Mc’s plot armour is getting even stronger.
