Author should have kept Maribel in the shadows for much longer. Use her as a 3rd foil to Rimiru. Rimiru is so OP that the opposition he has the better the plot.
Well too bad, Yuuki needs to perish.
Rimuru has soo many skills and Raphael too.
The loopholes or shitty writing:
1. Yuki fights rimuru while using anti skill, and rimuru decide to remove the controlling spell from yuki, the anti skill prevented it so vice versa the controlling spell shouldn’t work on him.
2. Rimuru has body double skill too, and his doubles can also work independently with the help of Raphael, so why he did not accompany yuki when he was going to kill the girl, I mean it is the right moment to know the truth.
3. His duty, his work, his responsibility, his previous life, his current actions don’t fit well rather they are bull shit rn.
4. He rely heavily on Raphael, I mean Raphael is carrying the whole plot, and I think Raphael is the knot to the end thuth of this story. Furthermore he doesn’t utilise his skills.
Say what you will about Yuki, but he is a really cool character. He definitely is the antagonist, but he is very much the protagonist of his story.
So Maribels purpose was just to remove doubt from Yuuki? Honestly Rimuru it was SOOO CLEAR THAT WAS THE PURPOSE. Smh I hope he still takes care of Yuuki or at least still suspects him.
Ugh… that simp kangli… 😓 rimuru could have packed up yuuki right then and there if not for her interference.
A shame Maribel was just a fodder. They could have done more, but honestly there’s not much to expect from Tensura outside of the fights and worldbuilding.

so, maribel was a meaningless character and everything is sorta falling back to the WN track. why even bother using the minute differences in the LN when the WB and LN are like 95% similar.
Milim may be an ancient demon lord but she’s still a little kid.
Maribel got off way too easy after torturing Milim with her dead pet.
On the plus side, Rimuru is no doubt about to do something that makes him an even bestier bestie for restie.
I really hope Rimuru is plotting something otherwise they just dumb down his character every arc to make the story possible. The anti-skill skill was active the entire fight and he was still being “mind controlled” and then it suddenly turned off when he was about to die? That’s just a little too convenient. Plus, all the previous traitorous behavior occurred before Tempus became a word world player so Mirabel would not have been involved yet.
Don’t worry rimuru is like a god of tempest he didn’t care either he betray him or not
I hate two faced villains. He should’ve just killed him forget being a bad guy in peoples eyes. As so the MC is an idiot. The guy has anti magic but you think he’s being controlled by a magic attack 
yet you let him take down the person controlling him…. Alone 
you don’t bug him or send a spy to watch him.
