Can I tell you just how terrible of a person Leon is….

So basically, he used to be a hero, but then lost his childhood friend/crush and became full demon lord. So he decides to start summoning kids from the other world since he knows she came from the future (major spoilers sorry). But everytime he summons a kid they have their life cut short since it is a pseudo summoning and it takes life force in exchange. Obviously, they play it off, since he gathers as many as he can and gives them spirits to extend their life, but then he has them join his army. This whole situation is played off as him being love struck so its not his fault, but because he spread the ritual to all greedy nations to get more summoned, hundreds of children (maybe even thousands with how big his army his) are basically abducted and forced to fight for greedy nations, and if you didn’t get a spirit from Leon, you will live for only a couple more years. Its a good trade off for the nations since they can use the OP hero for a few years, then they will just die after they met their worth, and they won’t become political enemies or start trying to clean up the corruption in the kingdoms.

I still don’t get it or maybe I forget what is Yuuki’s true aim or reasons? And does he have a few screws loose in his head?
