Is the mc and the regressor the same person but both co-existing in this timeline?
Evidence suggesting this is that the regressor recognize Hyan and seemed at first thrilled to see her but has never tried to talk to her or care for her since and has allowed Mc to do this.
Another idea could be that the MC and him are best friend and that Hyan last time ended up with him but he lets MC near her because he is his best friend and doesn’t know how much interference would benefit him since on meeting her she hid behind mc and he felt a more pro-active approach might work against him.

does the int stat actually transfer to how smart you are, since mc has (was it) 29 rn, and he has heroic potential, going off the knights stats, could he get 80-90 int stat. And be big brain, or is the int stat just like more magic control, and stuff like an rpg game?
