Time to build rails and trains to fast move the troups through the territory, plus the armored train would be cool too. Or the heavy cannon like the germans had in the ww2. Coal mining is bad for the worker and bad for the environment both when mining and burning. Much effort has been put into determining methods which minimize the environmental effect obtaining and using coal has.
