Release That Witch - Chapter 232

I hate how Anna is the “main witch” & love focus simply because she was the first witch he saved. Her character is so, idk, basic. There’s not much to her, she’s been the same way for ages and she’s hardly involved in the plot anymore. I’d MUCH rather have Nightingale as his love interest.

I feel they make it up as they go along. It’s like they’re forcing the love narrative between Roland and Anna, but they also want Nightingale to be a potential love interest too as she’s simply a WAY better love interest, character & more. I also feel that the author feels torn. It’s like they had a vision in their mind, but forgot to develop Anna’s story & character whilst going along with the storyline, then, by the time they realized this had happened, they didn’t know what to do between her and Nightingale.

Personally, I think it would be great if he married more than one witch. I cannot see her just marry Anna and not Nightingale, I would be crushed to see how heartbroken she would be. However, Anna is extremely thoughtful and frank. I feel that if her and Roland ever officially start something, she’ll notice something is amiss with Nightingale and figure her out, then suggest also being with him. I doubt it goes that way, but it would be nice.
