Im suprised he’s not building canons first before guns wouldnt they be much simpler? Or maybe thats too much raw material

So instead of guns he is relying on primitive bombs, not a bad choice but once you introduce black powder, weapons develop quickly. And cannons were the last nail in the coffin for castle warfare.

spears? try javelins, i think they’re better.
they’re like the same, but different.
i’m no expert at there things but, i think spears are supposed to be just for melee.
movies etc.. made them look cooler when thrown.
