Even from the start, there’d be much more friction between the people and witches.
You dont just save a few lives, make a few plays, do a few speeches and get to change people’s entire worldview. Even with Nana being an angel. Still wouldnt change much especially not that quickly.
This is why subverting a people takes generations. GENERATIONS not months not even a few years.
(You disagree? Roland even said in an earlier chapter he made that Play as propaganda to change people’s world view. So whatever, listen to Roland, listen to the author lmfao even his fictional character made media propaganda to influence the minds of his fictional subjects, you HONESTLY think you’re not the same irl? Foolish. Beyond foolish and just plain stupid.)
This is one of the many deceptions of a story like this. Its the same in Tensei Slime, a similar story.
A bunch of completely different monsters with completely different values, cultures and traditions…..immediately joining hands and dancing around a fire together singing kumbaya “just because”. No legitimate friction. No legitimate issues. “Just because” and thats that. Just like Rolands people and the Witches
In fact, the most hilarious and ironic thing is that in a story like this one and Tensei Slime, they serve that very same purpose im talking about now, ie; changing your world view and peddling communist propaganda (which only ever shows you surface level, superficial, barely truthful counter arguments that convienently always put MC on a moral high ground via contrived plot devices and contrived framing of flat stereotypical bad guys doing bad things)
Basic Pattern Recognition of Communist/Marxist (all Jewish btw) propaganda
Multiculturalism,
anti church, church bad, ad nauseam tropes (easy to hate, scripted and framed to be hated)
pro good innocent “witches” /witches rebranded as cute magic girls (easy to sympathize),
good demons….obviously, you could have guessed that right? If you’ve read more than one comic you already know
demons that are allies, demons are best friend, church is bad ….lmfao
,
framing any and all Monarchy ideals (God and King etc) with the same Ad Nauseum, post enlightenment arguments….that simply wont be truthful in the way they show the other sides perspective, going so far as to outright omit any and all legitimate counter arguments from the stories.
Villians always being superficially antagonistic, with flat ideals, false represented ideals…giving you easy flat stereotypical antagonists to hate and to associate that disdain and rejection with the conflated opposing groups values…. and easy cathartic justification for doing so
so on and so forth
“The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinionbut allow very lively debate within that spectrum. Even encourage the more critical and dissident views. This gives people the sense that there’s free thinking going on, while all the time the pressuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of debate.”
