Release That Witch - Chapter 46 That Creature Has Come
Comments for chapter "Chapter 46 That Creature Has Come"
I was going to comment this a few chapters ago when the King was killed, but I reckon the culprit is the youngest, the second Princess/5th in line. I remember seeing her stats, and she had non, but her int was Max. Also, that stone the King had (this wasn’t clear, but I think it changed colour due to a witch attack). Whilst this is not 100%, it’s been foreshadowed.
With this, I also think it’s possible that the second Princess may be a witch as well. The fact it hasn’t shown us her in the story yet and she remains a mystery makes her even more sus. However, if it is true, then her goals and the goals of the MC likely align.
It would be good to see them working together for what they both want. However, this is just speculation, I could be well off the mark.
I also think the animals going mental is the doing if some witches. As it stands, it appears some in the association upper ranks are the equivalent of the church but for witches, and to keep them on their pilgrimage, I wouldn’t put it past some of them to cause them animals to do that to keep the rumours alive.
Just my 2 cents.
It looks similar to the manticore.
i mean its a griffin whats the other one called with the lions head and tail of a snake .. wait is that a griffin ?
Woah we just majorly upped our fighting force with those new witches. Would have been nice to get that plant girl. Endless food.
Anyways, rather inconvenient that another beast that can’t be defeated without witches came already.

(Can’t edit my comment below, but, edit:)
I remember Nightingale saying she never comes across the animals. If this applies to all witches, could it be that animals avoid them when they’re in groups, and the higher-ups keep them going in the same route every year, hence why it hits them at the same time each year? With witches dying all the time, going missing, not living to be very old, being few in number etc, it would make sense if they didn’t notice.
Of my two theories about the animals, I’d say this is the least plausible. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if the “ancient texts” actually say the mountain is made up and just a way to give them hope whilst they hide.
